Extended GP Appointments

Practices are working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments between 6.30pm – 8pm during the week and also over the weekend, If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours.  Your appointment may be with another practice in the area and may not be at your registered practice.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly. Under very exceptional circumstances, in the event of an emergency and at the discretion of the doctor or nurse a patient may be seen without an appointment.

Please note from 1st Dec to 31 Dec 2015  128 Doctors appointments and 145 Nurses appointments were defaulted.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
